Juror Milt Friedly has received recognition locally, regionally and nationally for his work in ceramics, mixed media, print-making and sculpture. He is Director for the Handprint Identity Project: An Exchange Between Artists and Poets and he directs the Susquehanna Center for the Creative Arts. His work has been included in exhibitions at the Urban Center for Contemporary Art; the State Museum in Harrisburg; the Gallery of American Craft; the Susquehanna Art Museum; the Lancaster Museum of Art; the Pennsylvania Arts Experience; Lynden Gallery; Lancaster Galleries; the University of the Arts, Philadelphia and many colleges and universities. His work is included in a number of public collections and many private collections. He received a BFA Ceramics from Arizona State University and an MFA Sculpture from the University of Wyoming. His minor area of study is in printmaking. He holds the position of Professor of Art at Elizabethtown College where he has taught for twenty-eight years.

Jim Bright, juror — Studied at Pennsylvania State University, Indiana University, and at Creative Art Studies in Lucca, Italy. His work has appeared in numerous solo exhibitions across the Commonwealth and has been commissioned for gardens as well as industry. Whether working with stone or wood, his medium influences the subtractive process to “reveal organic origins; with growth and movement becoming recurring themes.” Link to Jim Bright’s website
